Deviation Actions
As it would happen as soon as I began my little quest on learning how to best record my guitar for some of my recent material via the PC, I have about three new tunes to tweak now with some assorted riffs to add to my palette. Dusted off my ole Hufhes & Kettner 'Cream Machine' and the end result was that I now will refining some of my presets on my GNX 3000 guitar workstation. 
I had forgotten the silky smooth tones my HK offers over the last several years since getting my GNX. The GNX is great for what it offers in the world of amp modeling and recording to my PC, but I had simply forgot those old tones that have long identified my guitar sound.
I will dial it all in together to put together my first complete album in the next few months if possible and will not be too far behind my original prospective schedule.

Tones Of My Strings
I have been spending the last few days and will continue the remainder of this week working on tweaking some guitar tones for the purpose of recording a song I have had laying around for a while, now. And, during the process I have put together two additional foundations for new songs. I will have to record at least the guitar tracks for those two and get the music written out.
Essentially, while I have made good progress with the first song as in regard to getting a guitar tone I wish to use for it, I have created more work in the music arena for myself. But, that is a good thing as it means the creative wells are still productive for my
Cycles
I have realized that even being conscious of it, I tend to maintain cycles of my artistic focus. One week involves a in a traditional piece or two followed by a couple of digital works and sometimes I take breaks in between to concentrate solely on my musical endeavors. Nonetheless, there is a general cycle or pattern of my efforts that apparently influence my daily activities into weeks and months.:juggle:
While, I would like to think I am a little less predictable, it is healthy to maintain some semblance of order within one's life. I can just make concerted efforts to shake it up within the confines of my works, themselves. :D :boogie:
Tinker Time
I'm currently taking advantage of a lull in commissions to dust off and practice one my passions, guitar. Also, taking time to catch up on the new music tech so as to not lose touch with the latest tools and toys available to assist and/or enhance the musical experience.
Hopefully, I can get a few songs I have been tinkering with for a while closer to a level of completion that I can get into a studio with a few musician friends and record them. My initial goal was to have it all done by fall, but that time is quickly approaching and I find myself a little behind schedule. I'll see. If nothing else, I get a little :headbang: time. :D
